Jamestown, Williamsburg, Yorktown and surrounding areas in Virginia, where history comes alive. Come and explore what these wonderful areas have to offer. We will be taking you on the most incredible tours that no other single site can begin to offer.
Yahoo Travel web site Here is a link for Yorktown through the Yahoo Travel site. Interesting site, worth a visit. We just posted some pictures onto there to help you get a better view of Yorktown. We will add more as time goes by.
We have just added news feeds from the Daily Press to the bottom of this site. There are three separate areas. Williamsburg, Seaford (Yorktown), and Jamestown are the headings and news feeds onto this site. We are adding the local weather onto here as well, so by the time you read this post, you will be able to see the weather just before the news feeds.
The Virginia Gazette Here is a link to the local newspaper, the Virginia Gazette. They have a really nice interactive site that you should enjoy exploring. We are looking over the site to find an RSS feed to put onto this site.
Visit Williamsburg Here is another well done website. Visit Williamsburg is the name of the site and is loaded with a lot of great features and links. They even have a map of the area that you can download. We found the download of the map to be extremely slow and we are on ultra high speed access. The map is worth the wait if you have never been to the area. To explain the layout of Williamsburg in it's most basic terms, everything circles everything else in this city. It's very easy to get lost here. It's also a great place to get lost in. You are never worried or feel inclined to lock your car doors while driving around.
This is one of the safest cities in the nation. Also one of the most beautiful and fabulous in more ways than one. So hit this site and enjoy.
Colonial Williamsburg Now here is one of the most spectacular web sites we have ever seen. This is the official Colonial Williamsburg Web site and it is just fabulous. We could spend hours on that site just learning from them. If you use no other links in here, at least use this one.
Williamsburg Links Site Here is a pretty comprehensive links site for the Historic Triangle. This is mostly a hotel accommodations site, does include some restaurants and also links for area attractions.
Here we have the Governor's Palace in Colonial Williamsburg. This is a magnificent building with some truly incredible grounds and interior that is truly stunning to behold. If you do tour CW, be sure that you make this one of your main stops.
